Solar Cats

Solar Cats is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization working to install photovoltaic solar paneling systems on U of A residence halls, starting with the Posada San Pedro hall. In addition, we will install a monitoring system to collect electricity production data to be used by students for research, conduct community outreach through sustainability youth education programs, present and work in partnership with local businesses and U of A personnel to achieve this goal, participate in a sustainability student coalition through the U of A, be a part of community dialogue on sustainability, and so much more. Knowledge of solar paneling is not required. Every interest can thrive here.
