The UA offers nearly 200 clubs and organizations for students focused on fun, community projects, sports and special interests. Many of these groups work on projects related to sustainability. Students for Sustainability offers internships for up to 50 students who are working to make the UA campus more sustainable.

The University of Arizona offers students opportunities to reach beyond traditional classroom learning and participate in hands-on learning through research. Research opportunities are not just for students studying science and are available in every aspect of the environment and sustainability.
