The department offers a program leading to the Master of Science degree with a major in agricultural and resource economics. A broad spectrum of agricultural economics subject matter is presented, with emphasis in natural resources, international business, and agribusiness. Graduate Degrees
The American Indian Studies Program (AIS), with assistance from the School of Natural Resources and Environment (SNRE), is offering an academic Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in the administration and management of American Indian natural resources. To obtain the Certificate, students must complete a 12-unit program of study that includes core and thematic courses. The program is designed for students to begin in the fall and complete in one to two academic years.
The department is presently ranked among the top five anthropology programs in the nation, according to the National Research Council. The department offers programs leading to the Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in anthropology. Major concentrations are available in archaeology, biological anthropology, cultural anthropology, or linguistic anthropology.
Architecture offers an MS in architecture, which allows students the option of pursuing a personalized course of study or focusing on a prescribed curriculum.
The mission of the Arid Lands Resource Sciences (ALRS) program is to provide an academic environment in which to examine the economic, ecological, and social factors that determine the long-term sustainable use of arid and semiarid lands.
